The Role

• Reporting directly to our Head of Engineering under our CTO you will be part of a small, veteran team of 3-5 senior developers.
• The company is growing rapidly and with a very accomplished CTO and Head Of Engineering you’ll be instrumental in delivering high-quality code and solutions at a fast pace. 
• You will be part of a small team working to completely replace our e-commerce tech stack with a custom Jamstack solution. 
• We value creative thinking and the ability to understand the business and the team and focus on the things that produce real value.

What we are looking for

• At least 10 years of web development experience with over 3 years in the e-commerce sector.
• Strong technical background with demonstrable experience in javascript-based web apps and software engineering for e-commerce.
• Extensive experience implementing both custom and off-the-shelf e-commerce platforms and CMS/CRM solutions.
• Previous implementation and full ownership of several e-commerce Jamstack projects on platforms and frameworks such as NextJs, Gatsby, and Contentful.
• The desire and ability to innovate and deliver truly useful software in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Experience with the latest tools and techniques to ensure rapid and high-quality delivery, including source control management, automated testing, system monitoring, and continuous delivery.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Experience in the use of agile development approaches.
• A good communicator who can clearly translate between business and technical language and concepts.
