We're looking for a super-smart, super-passionate and super-on-to-it Front End Developer to take the reigns of the front-face of our multi-award-winning SaaS apps. We're known in our industry for our distinctive and playful design aesthetic, and want you to inject your own passion, flair and fun. If you get bored working on the same old UI's, then here's your chance to add in that extra dimension, sprinkle in a little animated magic, and ensure our robust user experience is peppered with small moments of webappy delight!

You'll have a strong foundation of Front-end dev skills, having worked on numerous web-app projects and UI's. You'll have an interest (if not experience) in component- based design/development and will be itching to develop and steward an in-house component library/style-guide, in co-ordination with our UX/UI Lead, for ongoing use by yourself and the rest of the team. You'll be keen to run a tight front-end ship, harp on about best-practice, and have an eagle eye for consistency throughout our products.

Meanwhile, you'll be extending yourself up the design pipeline, working together with our UX/UI team and Product team to help produce the designs which you will then turn into functioning, magical code. In a typical day, you might do some of the following:

• Get into the zone with some Angular/HTML/SASS development for a new feature we are launching
• Drop a touch of animated magic into a new component, bringing a little joy into the day of our users (and product team!)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Front end software development.

• worked in Agile software development environments.
• worked with product design teams before, in particular for SaaS products.
• great understanding and appreciation of the concepts of graphic/interaction design, and user interfaces.
• excellent understanding of HTML & SASS, responsive and mobile app development.
• experience working with (and ideally working on) component libraries.

• experience working in Angular (or similar frameworks).
• Understand the constraints of data driven websites and are used to working with the various states of the same page according to data.
• Can work with user flow diagrams.
• Are focused on the quality of the user interface as much as the aesthetics.
