About The Role
WooliesX is seeking a Senior Front End Developer to look after all and everything around Woolworths homepage.You will become an essential member of the Community Squad and Techlab Chapter. 

The Homepage has recently been updated to AEM, and you will be responsible for developing the front end of the website using HTML, CSS & JavaScript.

The updated website goes live every Wednesday, so you will be required to work later on Tuesday evening and start early every Wednesday morning (7-7:30am) to ensure the Go Live goes smoothly.

We have a very flexible working environment so you will finish early on Wednesday plus any additional hours back in time in lieu! 

What you'll do

• Looking after all and everything around Woolworths homepage
• Working with stakeholders to ensure customer-centric approach and managing expectations
• Ensure technical feasibility of UX/UI designs to optimise applications
• Assist team in coding and troubleshooting
• Understand business requirements and provide alternative solutions
• Produce high-quality work and provide assistance to team

Who you are

• Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript skills and a passion to write clean, concise and organised code
• Extensive experience with AEM
• Experience with Adobe Target
• Comfortable to take on new challenge and learn along the way
• Strong eye for design
• Optimising web and mobile rendering for maximum speed and scalability
• Strong desire to constantly improve and learn
• Confidence and experience working with design teams and stakeholders
• Experience working with Continuous Integration / Deployment
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work
• Willingness to go the "extra mile" to achieve the business outcome
• Excellent written and verbal skills are mandatory
• Excellent team player
• Demonstrable initiative
• Willingness to work collaboratively with Back End developers
