Reporting into the CFO, you will oversee all the accounting and financial reporting functions for the fund. This will include but not be limited to:

Ensuring the fund's financial statements are prepared accurately and on time

Financial reporting, including managing audit reviews and full year audits.

Managing the financial control and operations, including developing effective processes, policies, and controls.

Oversight and running of the budgeting and cash flow management, including improvement and development of the forecasting and budgeting preparation.

Managing the corporate tax and debt facility related compliance (including AFSL requirements) including review and improvement of reporting.

Other ad hoc related projects.

To be successful in this role, you will have an accounting degree and be CA/CPA/ CFA or CIMA qualified. You will be a senior finance professional with experience in a similar role working in funds management or private equity. Alternatively you will be operating at a Manager level or above within a Big 4 firm in financial services looking to move into an inhouse Fund Controller role. You will possess strong communication skills (written, oral and graphic) and research ability. In addition to this you will be technically proficient across financial markets, accounting, audit, tax and statutory regulations. In additional to this you will have a close attention to detail, be deadline orientated and enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
