Head of Technology & Analytics - Central London - Competitive salary, car allowance, bonus & benefits

My client, a global healthcare company based in Central London, is looking to recruit a Head of Technology & Analytics. You will be responsible for leading and directing the management, development, and integration of data analytics and business intelligence, as well as the technology operations necessary for supporting the business strategies, objectives, and goals. This role is responsible for the strategic direction of all activities related to the data analytics, insight, research, and data science capabilities of the business. In addition, you will be responsible for the technology team with primary focus on digital product development, software engineering, IT and technology-based services.

Key responsibilities:

Develops and delivers the data and technology strategy and roadmap that supports the broader vision and strategy of the company

Influences business strategies by identifying initiatives based on data, driving processes based on recommended strategies

Works proactively and cross functionally across the business to identify and develop new initiatives that deliver value using analytics

Advances process improvement, technology and systems solutions by driving the active search for new and innovative technology solutions, advancing technology and system solutions that can be leveraged as solutions to expedite service delivery and process improvement

Champions the use of data to support sourcing strategies by examining market channels and exploring innovative business opportunities

Leads the development of new technology solutions that are aimed at supporting an agile way of working as well as creating better connectivity with our Members

Develops and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners and internal clients

Leverages strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills and develops advanced technical capabilities within the team

Key skills:

Previous experience in a leadership role within tech, analytics and/or data centric function/organisation

Proven ability to lead a team to achieve goals by focusing on results

Demonstrated consistent ability to develop strategic and tactical plans as well as creative problem-solving capabilities

Exceptional organisational and project management skills are critical using a consultative approach

Time management, including ability to organise and prioritise work to consistently meet critical and/or conflicting daily deadlines while ensuring the highest level of accuracy

Proven ability to research, analyse and problem solve

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, flexible and adaptive to changes in the business

Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external business partners and to influence a diverse set of stakeholders
