Within CSCP, we are the Cloud Capacity Planning team, and our mission is to lead the world’s cloud experience through optimal, predictable, and connected planning. As the Director of Product Lifecycle Management Planning, you will optimize lifecycle value, add new focus on NPI ramp planning to integrate and align Time To Market goals, and support Microsoft sustainability strategies through mature decom planning. You will have the opportunity to partner with a cross functional team of business leaders and NPI/Decommissioning process owners on our journey to world class performance through the application of supply chain principles, tools, and methodologies.  
In this role, you will lead a Cloud Capacity Planning team with mission to lead the world’s cloud experience through optimal, predictable, and connected planning.
• Design and implement Product Lifecycle Management strategy for planning for value differentiation within Cloud business model
• Ensure seamless interaction between NPI, S&OP, Decommissioning and spares to develop appropriate input and output to support business growth
• Establish a clear methodology and structure to support Long- range planning and align a proper governance structure within Microsoft Cloud Supply Chain
• Run current business while ensuring new process design in under way to support simplification and consolidation to articulate the appropriate model and design that fits industry best practices
• Engages external business and industry experts to learn and influence business strategies, constantly remaining alert and forward-thinking about opportunities and risks in the industry
Required Qualifications:
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management is required. An MBA or a Master’s in Supply Chain Management is highly preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in the Supply Chain, Operations or product operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 10+ years of specific experience in Finance Planning, Supply Chain or Planning Management or NPI – Product Life Cycle Management
• Experience in the High-Tech industry and hyper scale supply chain preferred
• Demonstrated leadership through success at senior level positions in leading teams and project initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage change in the organization and to influence others
• Good analytical skills and capable of using models for optimization purposes
• Strong project management/process improvement skills
• Proven/excellent verbal and written communication skills
