About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. We build, maintain and operate solutions focused on helping our customers modernize their applications by removing platform issues and opening up access to valuable business data. The technical domains we operate in are .Net Core, SQL Server, APIs, DevOps and integration.

The Senior DevOps Engineer role would suit someone with a technical background in Software Development. The role will involve working with our Developers and Architects to design, build and execute DevOps solutions for our customers.

This role will initially see you working on an incredibly rewarding account making a real difference in the community.

What you’ll bring

Experience in DevOps practices and tools, e.g. Octopus, Docker/kubernetes, Infrastructure as code, Redis Cache, Cloud security, PowerShell, APM

Previous experience in a Senior / Lead role within a Consulting environment would be advantageous, as this is very much a ‘growth’ role

CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps pipelines, Jenkins or similar

Ops/Administration, Linux or other OS experience

Clear communication skills, both written and verbal

Experience working in AWS and Azure cloud platforms

An understanding of Integration, DevOps and Cloud technologies and the ability to work closely with the development team at a technical level

Can work independently to design and automate solutions, but also play a key part in a very close knit team

Comfortable working in an Agile environment.

An added advantage would be experience in any of the following:

Git branching strategies.

Background in web software development (preferably .NET).
