The Role:

The primary function of this role is to participate in enhancements of the core illion DTS platform undertaking software design, code, debugging, testing, deployment, integration and documentation, as required, to support the timely delivery of company projects. The Senior Developer will also participate in architecture and design phases of the company's new products with a particular focus on core platform/back-end enhancements.

The candidate will capable of leading a team of developers, guiding and mentoring members of the team, ability to follow a plan and execute it alignment with the company goals.

Functional Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Program Development which includes: Coding, Testing, Debugging, Code Review, Change Control
• Documentation, which includes Writing, Reviewing and editing documentation, creating document templates, applying document standards and document control procedures, Securing source code.
• Project Management which includes, Project planning and development, Work management.
• Mentoring to other junior staff members of development practice, development process and correct system development standards
• Manage patch releases and deployment
• Work with other stakeholders to define and enforce development quality standards
• Manage or oversees all stages of the software development lifecycle including requirement, when BA's or Product Owners are unavailable to assist) capture, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation processes.
• Plan and run Scrum-related meetings (planning, reviews, daily scrums and retrospective)
