Role Purpose:

Assisting the Midlands & South business in the preparation of design material including marketing brochures, pitches, reports, design proposals

We require an experienced designer ideally with commercial property marketing experience. In-depth knowledge, but not exclusively, of the Adobe Creative Suite is essential including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. A good degree of CAD and GIS knowledge would also be advantageous.The candidate must possess the ability to take projects from concept through to completion, within tight timescales and ensuring that the outputs elevate our communications, are easy to understand and visually attractive whilst maintaining the CBRE brand. 

The successful candidate will be working closely with the various teams across the Midlands and South business supplying our fee earners and clients with conceptual and innovative design solutions. He/she will also be required to create corporate identities and project branding, develop layouts for proposals, pitches, reports, exhibitions and advertising material; liaising with Central Marketing team as required. 

Creative design should become an integral part of our wider service offering to clients in the Midlands & South business and could become fee-generating as we establish a charge to clients for this ‘add on’ service. This model has been successful in the North region, so much so that the Manchester office are looking to add additional resource to their design capability and are generating fee income

Having consulted senior leaders across the brokerage teams in the Midlands & South, we have agreed that the current ‘outsourced’ design method is both expensive and inefficient. A core part of the design function will be pitch support, where the creative aesthetic of a presentation can play a key role in securing a new business wins. 

Key Responsibilities 

? Supporting the Midlands & South Business in the preparation of design material

? Understanding the commercial property sector and the specific requirements/demands associated with it

? The ability to work across different service lines, understanding and interpreting their requirements.

? Working to strict deadlines/timescales

? Preparing site layouts to support development proposals/concepts

? Elevate our pitch design proposition 

? Coordinating and preparing tender submissions, reports, exhibition material and agency particulars

Person Specification/Requirements 

? In-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite is essential including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

? Experience working within Real Estate would be an advantage

? Demonstrable experience within a similar role

? Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels of seniority

? A degree in graphic design or equivalent 

? Diligent and pro-active

? Ability to prioritise and act on own initiative

? Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
