As a Senior Delivery Manager within DTA, you will have direct responsibility for the delivery of a variety of multiple complex projects from inception through to the successful transition to the business and operations. The role requires a flexible and pragmatic approach to reflect rapidly changing business needs whilst applying robust project management practices across a range of data related projects.

What you’ll do:

• Be accountable for end-to-end planning of across multiple complex projects. Lead and negotiate scope, schedule, budget, risks, deployments and communications
• Work with business stakeholders, Portfolio/Programme Leads, Delivery Managers, Squad Leads and Data Engineering teams to create robust plans for delivery.
• Produce clear status reports on time, to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
• Manage milestones, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies across complex projects, clearly articulating the wider impact of a risk or issue should it be realised.
• Leverage a variety of project management and agile tools to deliver on project outcomes, goals and value propositions. Advocate opportunities for process, technology, automation, and product improvements
• Be adaptive in your approach to the application of Delivery Management to agile methodologies appropriate for the situation especially around Scrum and Kanban.
• Manage stakeholder challenges and resolve ambiguity and complex subjects with a detailed and pragmatic approach.
• Ensure that all deliverables adhere to the end to end change process and adhere to our best practice standards.

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years proven record of managing large scale, complex technology and preferably data warehouse related projects.
• Delivery experience in multiple methodologies. (Scrum, Less, SAFE, Waterfall)
• Experience of large-scale, complex projects in agile environments.
• Experience in Cloud delivery environments is preferable.
• Experience of Agile transformation programmes
• Experience of working in different delivery models, agile / waterfall, in dynamic challenging
