Responsibilities

• End to end delivery of various search and recommendation experiences covering wide range of areas including index selection, relevance, information retrieval, entity extraction, recommendation and classification.
• Deeply analyze existing user & customer data to understand gaps and opportunities to improve our ML solutions. 
• Provide technical leadership to Software Engineers, Data and Applied Scientists to successfully execute on our roadmap and achieve your strategic objectives.
• Drive collaboration and partnership with a global team of world-class researchers, scientists & engineers to solve very challenging problems. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Significant years of industry experience in a Software Engineer, Data Scientist, or related role
• Signifiant years expertise and hands-on experience on one or more of machine learning, text analysis, statistics, information retrieval, natural language processing, computer vision, recommendations, with a strong understanding of both practical and theoretical aspects
• Relevant years of experience with large scale data processing infrastructure such as SQL, Spark, Cosmos, Scope (or similar)
• Ability to own Machine Learning systems end-to-end - from data pipelines and training to realtime prediction engines.
• Ability to independently drive cross team collaborations and ship production features in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS/PhD Degree in CS/CE/EE/Data Science or related areas is preferred.
• Experiences in Python/R/C++/C# and general software development skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
