Your new role
Sitting within the Customer Operations Unit, you will have experience with analytic practices, data science approaches, and produce solutions that will become part of how we operate. This role will build and own models, algorithms, and find patterns analysing diverse sources of data to achieve targeted outcomes. Some key responsibilities will cover:

- Identify data analytics problems and business requirements that lead to innovative solutions to increase efficiency or customer experience.

- Understand business function, processes, activities, data flow, and strategic direction.

- Manipulate structured and unstructured data, address data quality concerns, data munging, and understand metadata for use in analysis.

- Build, use and manage models and algorithms to mine data. Championing adoption and practices of Snowflake and dbt for data modelling and analytics engineering.

- Interpret analysis outcomes to identify opportunities.

- Recommend, develop, and take ownership of data-driven solutions and ensure they align with other analytical functions, the Data Management team, and T&D.

- Communicate analysis results in a clear manner using easily understandable language and visualisation.

- Create and maintain reports that are used by the business to manage exceptions and enable decisions.

What you'll need to succeed

- Proficiency in query languages such as SQL

- High level of competency with BI and Data Visualisation tools

- Understanding of statistical data analysis and data science methodologies

- Analytics Engineering and data modelling

- Good scripting and programming skills, such as Python
