You do not just answer the question that is asked, you also answer the questions that should be asked. You should be confident to challenge the business on their requirements and have a good balance of strong technical skills and applied analytical skills enabling you to work comfortably with large volumes of data and also deliver insightful conclusions to non-analysts, including senior management. Furthermore, you will be agile and thrive in a fast-moving environment, equally happy tackling larger, more in-depth projects and quick turnaround ad hoc requests.
To be successful, you must have good knowledge of a visualisation software (e.g. Tableau, Looker), Excel, PowerPoint, SQL and either Python or R. Experience of the retail or luxury sector would be a bonus. Strong Coding skills are key, must have the ability to conduct exploratory analysis in R or Python, including basic modelling e.g. clustering, and merging/joining/cleansing of large data sets. We will also look for experience of using customer or consumer data (Transactional, CRM etc.)
Our Promise to You
We pride ourselves on challenging conventional thinking and making the impossible possible. If you share our positive approach, this is a career move that will open doors for you. You will gain experience across the business while working at the heart of a fast-paced and prestigious team.
We will also take care of your long-term career progress, whether your ambitions take you upwards, or sideways into different areas of the business. Our benefits package gives you generous pension, up to 33% discount on instore shopping and 50% off work clothes, 25 days’ holiday and your birthday off.
