Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Kubernetes 

Our team is responsible for building and operating the services and websites that power our games â€“ whether they were released years ago or have yet to be announced. We’re looking for an infrastructure engineer with strong experience building out and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that powers large-scale highly available web services and websites. The ideal candidate will have experience with all aspects of the DevOps lifecycle, including planning, developing, testing, deploying, monitoring, and operating web services and infrastructure. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities: 

• Build and maintain infrastructure for cloud-hosted game services and websites. 
• Develop effective and reusable monitoring and alerting to achieve high up-time. 
• Design and implement processes to maintain and update infrastructure across our portfolio. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve service, website, and infrastructure failures. 
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation. 

Qualifications

 Qualifications:  

• Experience developing and operating Kubernetes clusters and applications deployed on them. 

• Experience with a cloud computing environment (Azure or others). 
• Operational experience with an observability stack, preferably Prometheus and Grafana. 
• Experience with Terraform, or comparable IaC tools. 
• Operational experience with both Linux and Windows. 
• CI/CD pipeline development experience (Azure DevOps or others). 

• Understanding of and experience with operating REST services. 
• 3+ years engineering experience. 

  

Preferred:  

• Demonstrable experience creating or contributing to Helm charts. 

• ASP.NET Core service development experience. 
• Website development and/or operations experience, especially with PHP/WordPress/Apache. 
• Experience using the Kusto Query Language. 
• Demonstrable experience with Go/Python. 
• History of game development experience or a passion for online gaming. 

• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
