Role Title: Senior Cloud Client Partner         
Location: UK (Homebased)


Role purpose: 
 
The Senior Cloud Client Partner will be responsible for demonstrating real commitment to an existing base of accounts, who are looking to grow their cloud estate or customers that have substantial growth and scalability potential. 

 

To ensure the continuity of our customer’s journey with us, and to be successful, you will: Lead the accounts across the virtual team of sales, technical, delivery and service; retain and manage revenue; identify revenue opportunities and ultimately support revenue growth. Whilst this role is not fixed on service, nor contract management, a service mindset is important to fully understand our customer’s pain-points. This will help to identify sales opportunities and drive contract renewal.  

 

Therefore, effective articulation of our propositions and Vodafone’s differentiation in the marketplace is critical to the global success of this role.  Collaboration within the team, as well as with OpCo Account Directors, is key to provide expertise and guidance to customers as they tread their own digital transformation.

With us you will:

  • Continuity, and growth, of revenues of ~€10m across ~2 core accounts: Bravura and National Express
  • Identify major new sales opportunities on the existing product range, driving them to completion.
  • Identify and implement service improvement and customer experience.
  • Establish and maintain high levels of client face-to-face engagement, building executive relationships with long-term strategic direction. 
  • Effective articulation of new product and service propositions to the client.
  • Identify and implement account profitability improvements. 
  • Provide appropriate management information as required in an accurate and timely manner, solving minor issues to clear blockages (which may, in turn, create sales opportunities). 
  • Engage in mature financial discussions with both the customer and Vodafone finance teams. 
  • Transact changes within an existing agreement ensuring they are specified, priced and delivered in a timely fashion.
  • Own the signing of ~€2m TCV of change projects, supporting the service management community to enable the delivery of effective service:
    • Identify and close sales opportunities under the existing frameworks
    • Identify strategic sales opportunities and bring in sales specialists appropriate to progress and close.
    • Assist the sales specialist in mapping the buying centre, understanding of stakeholders within the customer to assist the sales specialist in navigating the account as part of progressing a deal to closure.

 

Apply if you have: 

  • Experience in Cloud sales, with a proven track record in consultative, solution selling
  • Ability to operate under pressure, lead and work with virtual teams, deliver quality to tight deadlines and ultimately to success.
  • Proven ability to understand and develop business needs and translate into clear value propositions.
  • Broad understanding of how enterprise customers are using IT & digital to enhance their own growth and operations.
  • Proven track record of securing commitment with complex enterprise customers to achieve joint objectives
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building expertise, with the ability to build a trusted advisory status.
