Key Responsibilities
About the role
- Responsibility for creation of bespoke campaign data selections for internal customers, adhering to contact strategy rules
- Understanding complex data sources with ability to turn these into meaningful and actionable contact strategies
- Design a comms process that allows easy collation of contact data to support variable communication requests
- Ability to analyse datasets against campaign criteria and performance to identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Be custodians of our customer’s data, ensuring we are GDPR compliant and operating under other Data related regulations (ICO, PECR) by ensuring we are targeting the right audience and developing diligent processes that ensures compliance
- Work alongside insight team to ensure customer contact is measurable and track commercial impact
- Improve ROI and CLV through targeted segmentation that supports both New Acquisition Strategy and our customer in-life Base Management strategy, incorporating Next Best Action and propensity modelling; all with an ability to quantify business impact
- Optimise marketing automation and integrate lead nurturing journies across our Prospect and Customer Bases, particularly where overall engagement to sales lead time is longer
- Adopt a test and learn approach, using the data to guide you to strategic recommendations
About the person:
- Ability to scale large data sets and extract relevant insights in a timely manner
- Confident in SQL and other programming experience, Advantageous if experience of Digital Analytics capability (GA360, Adobe etc) as well as Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP) and PowerBI but not essential.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Proven experience of working/operating within a marketing environment, working to tight deadlines and meeting multiple deliveries at the same time
- An open-minded, flexible and positive attitude toward new challenges, with a willingness to embrace new technologies and business change
- A strong understanding of advanced current and emerging technologies that can create a source of competitive advantage
- Strong commercial acumen to understand how data and impact on marketing ROI/campaign results
- Experience of creating and utilising datasets for delivery in marketing campaigns
- Experience of delivering results with data and utilisation of data to improve results
Key skills / Experience
To succeed in this role you must have the following:
- SQL Skills
- Proven analytical ability across large and complicated datasets across a range of platforms
- Strong understanding of database querying and application of data into campaign delivery
- Strong numeric skills and attention to detail
- Strong relationship management skill
It would be great if you also have the following:
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure & Databricks
- Python / R / SAS
- Knowledge of Eloqua and Salesforce
- Experience working in B2B Environment but not essential
