    Job Description Summary

    Demonstrating core LBG values and behaviours, deliver a diverse range of complex and technical business support tasks to provide high quality outputs which satisfy a diverse range of senior leaders' requirements (range of between 5- 10 senior leaders) , to aid the overall efficiency of the senior leaders, and improve overall business decision making processes.

    Job Description

    •Demonstrate core LBG values and behaviours.

    •Undertake a diverse range of more complex/technical support tasks for a number of diverse senior leaders e.g. complex event management, presentation compilation, project support and provide research & analysis support/commentary.

    •Role will also support with other administration tasks, such as booking travel, arranging large meetings/hospitality, preparation of papers/minutes etc.

    •Contribute/support with the development of new processes, systems and procedures and make appropriate recommendations.

    •Provide guidance on a diverse/wide range of complex queries/investigations, requiring a high level of judgement, initiative and interpretation, in order to determine the appropriate operational decisions, highlighting issues and making recommendations.

    •Plan, prioritise, and manage a diverse and demanding schedule and produce comprehensive information to support all appointments/activities for a range of diverse leaders, with limited referral.

    •Engage and influence senior stakeholders within the team and outside, clarifying requirements and use initiative and judgement to enable business decisions.

    •Gather, prepare and review information on a wide range of topics, including material/papers for various committees/meetings.

    •Develop and maintain contacts across a wide range of business units in order to identify requirements and provide appropriate support/guidance and recommendations to the leaders supported.

    •Respond to a diverse range of complex/technical queries, liaising as appropriate with line management and/or other business areas, clarifying issues and ensuring that the nature of the information being provided is understood by the recipient.

    •Assists senior leaders, to ensure that all work is completed accurately and adheres to specified Group policies, processes and procedures and relevant external regulations where required.

    •Work is typically allocated and monitored on a timeframe of days/weeks, however, the role will require a high degree of prioritisation, influencing and negotiation skills to ensure the competing demands of a number of diverse senior leaders’ needs are managed appropriately.

    •Role will be required to use their judgement and initiative at all times to make effective decisions re activities/work, with minimal follow up/guidance.

    •Managing upwards and influencing future workflow from leaders supported to ensure volumes are manageable and all leaders receive equal service where possible, including using initiative to prioritise workload and resolve conflicting demands with minimal guidance/support.
