We are looking for a senior thought leader with strong strategy consulting/product/program management experience and a passion for data and analytics. This person will help define and drive the data platform strategy and interact with senior leaders in Data, the field, marketing as well as key decision makers across the company.

In this role you will shape and define cross product, platform, and multi-year strategies by deeply engaging with cross functional teams across Microsoft.  We seek a strategic minded, outside-the-box thinker with a start-up attitude, and a thought leader to take this business to the next level.  You will work closely with various teams across marketing, sales, field, business groups, engineering, and finance to understand competitive market dynamics, identify key emerging trends, and propose innovative and market leading solutions that extend in market strategies.         

Responsibilities

• Analyzing key competitive trends, identifying new usage and revenue growth opportunities
• Driving business strategy initiatives and alignment partnering closely with the product groups, marketing, and central strategy teams
• Conducting impact analysis, business cases and recommendations across product, sales, marketing, legal, & finance
• Developing strong relationships, embracing cross-functional collaboration to influence peers and senior executives across the company

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional strategy consulting, or related experience
• An advanced understanding of technology business models
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft technology, cloud computing, and consumption models
• BS/BA or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Attention to detail, self-discipline and self-motivation & experience in global project management
• Balanced in both strategy development and program execution
• High enthusiasm, integrity, ingenuity, results-orientation, self-motivation, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced competitive environment. 
• Have a deep desire to work collaboratively, solve problems with groups, find win/win solutions and celebrate successes
• Strong structured problem solving, analytics and modeling skills
• MBA preferred
