SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST - HYBRID WORKING - GLOUCESTERSHIRE

We are looking to recruit a Senior Business analyst / Accountant to cover an initial 12-month maternity contract.

This role is within the Financial Planning & Analysis team, with the key purpose being to drive improvements in the operations and financial performance of the business. Covering the Production site in Tewkesbury (and potentially expanding to cover one other site), this will involve hands-on working with the plant managers to identify ways of improving the profitability of the business, both through cost initiatives and developing margins.

Technical skills: -

• Qualified accountant with strong understanding of operations and grasp of management accounting principles.
• Strong numerical and analytical competencies, including the ability to assess information and evaluate different solutions to issues.

• Have strong analytical skills with ability to work with large data sets
• Be highly numerate and literate.
• Be an effective communicator with an ability to build strong networks across functions and articulate complex financial issues to a non-financial audience.

• Experience of working in a manufacturing or similar environment would be an advantage
