What you’ll be doing  

• You’ll work closely with the product team to build new functionality and be responsible for its development
• You’ll explore ways to improve the performance and reliability of our systems and ways to make the underlying code better in general
• You’ll assist our operations team in fixing bugs and responding to technical issues our clients may be facing
• You’ll learn about and use new web technologies
• You’ll work with a small, tight-knit team where everyone’s opinions are listened to as we continually seek to improve what we’ve built and how we build it

What you should have 

• 5+ years experience of writing PHP applications, ideally making use of Laravel
• A positive attitude, self-motivation and the ability to work in a clear, systematic way
• An analytical but pragmatic approach to problem-solving 
• Empathy for users and for those you’re working with 
• Sound decision making and clear verbal and written communication skills
