Sky Media is on a journey to transform its data and insight capabilities in order to drive its future roadmap and ensure long-term success. This role sits at the heart of this strategy enabling Sky Media extract more revenue and profit through best in class operational insights.

What you’ll do:
– Proactively Identifying the commercial opportunities that exist to improve the way we make decisions across Sky Media functions such as pricing, sales and operations
– Develop a practical insight roadmap with objective to extract more revenue and profits from Sky Media’s ad inventory
– Develop new diagnostic tools to identify in-flight revenue optimisation opportunities for linear, VoD and AdSmart campaigns
– Use a variety of Machine Learning and statistical techniques to solve various revenue and profit maximisation problems
– Utilise own data and leverage third-party data to create holistic solution to yield optimisation problems
– Interpret analysis and communicate results and recommendations to senior stakeholders within the business

What you’ll bring:
– Good understanding of Analytics methodologies, specifically strong hands-on expertise of advanced predictive and optimization modelling techniques and tools and Machine Learning algorithms
– Strong Experience in SQL, SAS, Python, R or other analysis and modelling packages.
– Experience in working with handling large data sets (particularly operational data) in a cloud-based platform such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products
– Excellent commercial skills: Able to produce and articulate commercial strategy with highly aware stakeholders.
– Senior Stakeholder Management: Candidate must have an excellent and proven track record of having established successful business relationships with stakeholders at Head of Level and Director.
– Experience of delivering pricing or inventory optimisation solutions in media, telco, airline, digital publishing etc. will be desirable

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
