In this role you’ll be part of one of our Engineering squads, applying architectural and engineering principles to define and deliver technology that will better customer experiences, improve efficiency and reduce business costs, helping us to lower prices. You’ll support your squad by enabling performance, compliance and risk management by sharing your expertise, judgement and passion for delivering quality products for customers. 

We use a variety of tech here and you need to be willing to pick up new tools and techniques. We’d also like you to be yourself - analytical, curious and unafraid to challenge the status quo. You’ll be a role model for best practices, championing a customer centric mindset and a passion for finding creative ways to solve problems, mentoring fellow engineers as a progressive member of the engineering community.

More about the role

• You’ll be the subject matter expert of the tools in your remit such as Tealium IQ, Tealium ES, Adobe Analytics and GA
• Leading on design solutions that will support and answer business questions
• Provide thought leadership for data collection and ways to maintain a streamlined implementation across multiple brands
• Maintain an understanding of new and emerging technologies and their potential impact to analytics
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the digital analytics systems by continually monitoring tags and resulting data, provide guidance for data integrity issues
• Work with analysts, product managers to ensure the implementation is in line with original goals and objectives
• Lead on complex tracking implementation projects, quality assurance across multiple platforms, for example web and mobile
• Articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner, understand the audience and tailor your message accordingly

More about you

• 5+ years’ experience implementing analytics onto websites leveraging tag management systems such as Tealium for web and app platforms
• Proven experience in design, implementation and management of a dataLayer
• Solid understanding of Adobe Implementation and experience in interpreting insight and data for the business to drive change
• 3+ years of writing JavaScript to capture values from the dataLayer
• Strong debugging skills using browser developer tools and extensions to validate analytics tracking
• Self-drive and constantly striving to improve your team, division and peers 
• Display empathy and understanding in supporting colleagues in the team to delive
