The opportunity

Right now, we have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Analyst to join the Sydney Project Delivery team. Within Operation and Business Readiness, this role leads and directs project lifecycle, strategic business and operational readiness initiatives and activities across the Branch, in collaboration with the Project Office Directors/Teams and interfacing with Development Branch and the Client to ensure effective and efficient development to delivery and asset handover outcomes. This is in line with achieving Branch strategic objectives and priorities.

Reporting to the Director Business and Operational Readiness, the primary purpose of the role is to ensure data accountability and communication between all project stakeholders as they move through the various stages of asset ownership and handover, including associated reporting.  You will take ownership of relevant data and stakeholder relations, ensuring milestones and compliance are achieved as well as identifying and closing any data gaps including future focussed information.

You will identify, develop, and implement business improvement opportunities on proposed and completed projects across a portfolio of complex initiatives; identify and develop opportunities for improving investment planning and delivery processes, developing proposals to senior management to address high priority issues.

Prepare business cases in partnership with business managers to define potential benefits, options for achieving these benefits through the development of new or changed processes, and associated business risks in line with contemporary best practise.

The opportunity will offer a variety of exposure and chance to provide expert technical advice and guidance to business managers to assist with defining their specific requirements and keep senior management fully informed on current and projected operational requirements and emerging issues.

About you

You are tertiary qualified in relevant discipline (ideally Engineering, Finance/Commercial Management, Project Management) or demonstrated equivalent experience in analytics management within the infrastructure and transport industries looking for an opportunity to utilise your experience to improve and drive consistent processes, working in a team with a supportive culture to develop your career. 

You will also have proven experience in building strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally and a sound knowledge of project development and delivery requirements with knowledge and experience specifically related to analytics.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Transport Service Grade 9 ($135,898- $152,204) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading
