Function

Motor Finance & Leasing combines Lloyds Banking Group’s Point Of Sale vehicle financing (Blackhorse) and Corporate Vehicle Leasing (Lex Autolease) businesses, providing lending to customers for the purchase of new and used vehicles through over 2,000 intermediaries and direct corporate sales. The businesses are leaders in their markets and are pursuing exciting growth strategies with significant investment to support transformation. The Business Intelligence team is being strengthened to centralise bespoke customer & sales MI work, strengthen our controls to improve MI accuracy, deepen our competitor and market intelligence gathering and take ownership for the maintenance and development of the new customer journey dashboards.

Job Purpose

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Business Intelligence team within Motor Finance and Leasing. This role will help drive the delivery of the MF&L MI strategy, creating a more sophisticated approach to production and distribution of MI as we further adopt, enhance and rollout the use of Tableau reporting across both Blackhorse and Lex Autolease businesses.

This role will work closely with the Lex Autolease and Blackhorse Sales and Management teams as well as the Senior Leadership team to develop dashboards to help drive the understanding of performance by providing analysis and insight and also drive automation of processes.

We are looking for someone with experience of using Tableau, who is passionate about data and has an aptitude for problem solving, analysing data, and the processes and systems which use it.

Core Accountabilities

  • Development of Tableau dashboards to meet the needs of senior stakeholders as well as account managers and external stakeholders.
  • Development of automated reporting solutions where appropriate
  • Work with Consumer Finance data teams to utilise EDH across the team where appropriate
  • Provide accurate and high quality data for business decisions and performance monitoring
  • Continuously improve upon a suite of regular reports on business and financial performance
  • Manage your own workload to ensure timelines are delivered upon, and work prioritised appropriately
  • Gather requirements to ensure the outputs delivered are to the standard required by the partnering area
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Motor products and services, and the market within which it operates (prior knowledge of Motor is preferred but not required)
  • Maintain appropriate controls and procedures to ensure reporting compliance to group standards

Experience / Skills Required:

  • Strong skills in Data Visualisation to utilise the tools available to present data/reports in the most visually-appropriate way.
  • A numerate/analytical degree, or minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • Advanced range of analytical tools including SQL/Oracle, Tableau
  • Experience of working in an MI or analytical role within Financial Services is highly desirable (or similar highly analytical role)
  • Self-motivated and able to effectively prioritise workload
  • Able to work collaboratively to ensure the whole team’s objectives are met
  • Good commercial understanding
  • Great stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work using agile methodology
