We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join our Asset Operations team. This is a really unique position within EDF UK, being the key liaison between our trading functions and power stations. To ensure commercial considerations are fully understood and enable appropriate strategies and risk mitigation to be performed to maximise value and minimise risk on the generation portfolio.
Reporting into the Senior Manager of Asset Operations it’s a great opportunity for somebody keen to learn the fundamentals of the energy industry and large commercial assets. Building collaborative relationships with the stations and commercial teams to improve the outcomes for the business.
Our teams are set up to work flexibly, therefore you don’t have to live in London. As long as you’re able to travel to the London office 1-2 days a week to collaborate with your team and stakeholders you can live anywhere in the UK.

As a Senior Analyst in Asset Operations you will need to build collaborative relationships with the stations and commercial teams to improve the outcomes for the business. We want you to be confident working with complex info, delivering it back to non-technical peers in concise terms, excellent communication and attention to detail is vital.
You will be leading operational activities used to optimise asset value including understanding Nuclear Generation asset availability and plant risk, managing the risk around these availability forecasts and managing the operational aspects of the off-taker relationship with Centrica.
We need an excellent team player, who is comfortable working with ambiguity, providing timely and insightful information and reporting to a range of stakeholders across the business
If you have experience in a large industrial company, with an operational background such as working with Pricing, settlements or trading teams I’d love to speak to you.
