What would I be doing?

You'll be working in a close knit, collaborative and highly engaged team, responsible for the design, development and maintenance of a broad suite of application software used right across the South Island in a number of domains. Your role will be varied and not just limited to application development, with exposure to training, documentation, business cases and Project Management, should your interest lie in these areas. You will also have a strong hand in establishing and implementing IT system procedures and techniques within the Application environment that will improve end user performance and productivity.

What do I need?

To be successful in your application for this role you will need to possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written. You will be a motivated and passionate individual who is not afraid to take initiative when required to drive team success. From a technical point of view we are seeking the following relevant experience:

• Developed skills in one or more of the major programming languages such as C#, Visual Basic, Java, Delphi, OO
• Developed skills and knowledge of one of the major relational Databases (SQL, Oracle etc)
• Developed skills in analysing work flows and processes
• Developed database and logic design skills
• Developed problem definition and resolution skills
• Developed communication skills both in written and oral form.
