The Role:
This is an opportunity to shape a critical function from the ground up. The Senior Airline Training Deployment Manager will be building and leading a multi-discipline team to develop deployment programs to support global airline customers in the adoption of new aviation flight training programs. This position will be on the front lines working with our customer to implement complex, multi-phase implementation engagements.
Responsibilities:
Develop tailored strategies for both airline and regional safety enhancements
Develop and conduct airline readiness assessments
Identify gaps and solutions to transition customers to part 121 CBT/A operations
Lead execution of integrated schedules of all supporting teams
Coordinate implementation and ongoing support for evolving minimum viable product suites
Planning, executing and supporting all pertinent change management activities
Working closely with customers and regulatory agencies for approval training programs
Ongoing program performance communication with deployment team and all relevant stakeholders
Oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees
In addition to working closely with the customer, this position will collaborate closely with our Learning Development, Product Management and Campus Operations organizations.
Work Authorisation:
This requisition is for a locally hired position. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the UK or EU. Required Qualifications:
Business degree and/or equivalent experience
5 years program/project management experience
Previous flight operations consulting experience (airline domain preferred) – preferred
Experience working with airline customers, particularly flight training and/or flight operations
Strong program management skills and ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects
Experience with business architecture and change management
Working knowledge of operational support systems and process (Training Management Systems, operations planning, etc.) - preferred
Business process management - Ability to diagnose challenges, analyze data, synthesize recommended actions and execute
Excellent communicator, experience with communicating to senior management and executive levels
