Description

Our client is looking to hire a Senior Accountant.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:

• Prepare management reporting, forecasts, and key performance indicators for the company, as well as compliance reporting where necessary;
• Prepare monthly reporting, providing variance analysis with commentary on business performance;
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to meet the needs of the company;
• Collaborate with other departments to provide support during budget process.
• Provide other financial support and analysis as required;
• Posting transactions to general ledger as needed;
• Preparing bank and general ledger account reconciliations;
• Preparing trial balances and working papers for year-end financial statement preparation;
• Preparing tax returns;
• Intervene and act as escalation point with other departments for accounting issues.

Requirements

Requirements:

To be successful in the role, prospective candidates should possess:

• 6+years of progressive accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibilities;
• CPA designation is required;
• High level of proficiency with computerized accounting systems including advanced skills in all Microsoft Office products;
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
