Description

Our client in the oil and gas industry is seeking a Senior Accountant for a 3 month contract. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for reviewing month-end transactions including allocations and accruals being performed by other staff. The Senior Accountant will complete variance analysis related to month-end balances and review the trial balance, update the forecasts and actuals for budgets, including other ad-hoc tasks.

Requirements

The successful Senior Accountant will have an accounting designation and will have a minimum of 5 years experience in assisting with the preparation of financial statements. Excellent excel skills and strong ERP knowledge are required.
