Our Vancouver based client is seeking a Senior Accountant/Corporate Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, they will be a pivotal part of the Finance and Accounting team. The scope of the role requires solid technical knowledge of accounting concepts and principles, as well as strong process management, interpersonal, decision-making, and communication skills.

Duties:

- Prepare internal Financial Statements for select entities / month end

- Reconciliations for a diverse portfolio

- Cash flow monitoring

- Prepare and file GST /HST filings and remittances for all entities by the respective due dates

- Analysis and other ad hoc duties

Requirements

Must Haves:

- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience (Multi entity or public practice experience a STRONG asset)

- CPA designation

- Strong work ethic

- Excel Pivot tables and V Lookups (Macro a strong plus)

- Knowledge of Power BI or Sage Intacct considered strong assets
