Do you live in either Vancouver, Kelowna, Tofino, or Kamloops? Do you want to work mostly remote? Are you a Senior Accountant looking for a new challenge? Then this is the role for you!! Please note that this role requires travel once a month.

Our hospitality client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team! As the Senior Accountant, you will report directly to the Controller and oversee the payroll, and reconciliations, assist with the internal audit, and provide analysis. The ideal Senior Accountant will have experience in the hospitality industry, a minimum of 5 years in a similar position, be CPA designated, and experience with payroll.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT RESPONSIBILITIES

-Oversee biweekly payroll

-Assist with the internal audit

-Provide analysis and recommendations

-High volume Bank & CC Reconciliations

-Complete any month-end duties

Requirements

Qualifications:

-A minimum of 5 years in a similar position

-Experience with Payroll

-Proficient with Excel, Payworks, and Sage (300 or Intacct)

-CPA Designated, or close to

-Must be able to drive

-Driven, motivated and personable.
