Description

Our Downtown Vancouver client is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. As the Senior Accountant you will be responsible for the full cycle of transactional accounting and oversee the corporate accounting processes including reporting and analysis. The ideal Senior Accountant will have a minimum of 3 years experience and be passionate about implementing new controls and procedures, have excellent communication skills with an eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities;

• Conducting analysis, including variance analysis, revenue analysis and financial statement analysis
• Financial reporting, including creating the financial statements
• Month end closing procedures
• Creation of the P& L
• Reconciliations, revenue accruals, journal entries, cost of sales

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years experience in a similar position
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• CPA Designation is considered an asset
• Experience in the media industry is considered an asset
• Experience with SAP By Design
