Operating as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Key responsibilities
- Compose Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Administer monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
- Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
- Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
- Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
- Arrange quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
- Take part in various department-wide initiatives
- Other projects as required
- Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
- SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
- A strong track record of communicating, both verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
- Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
- Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports
- 5+ years of overall general accounting experience
- Practical knowledge of Ad Hoc Reporting
- Proven knowledge of Fixed Asset Depreciation
- Proficiency in Excel Formulas
- Fixed Asset Accounting experience
- Excel VBA experience preferred
- Wide ranging experience with Lease Accounting
- Quality experience with Associated Depreciation Schedules
- Knowledge of Netsuite CRM
- Comprehensive knowledge of NetSuite
- General familiarity with Ad Hoc Analysis
- Well-founded grasp of Fixed Asset Ledger
- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
- Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
