Tribunal Officer 3 months Interim Contract Inside IR35 £350 P/D Full time. London - Local Authority Remote We are currently working with a council based in the London who are seeking an experienced SEN Tribunal Officer for an initial 3-month contract. Completely remote role and IT equipment will be couriered to your home address. To be considered for the role of Tribunal Officer, you must have a proven track record working within this role, in a local authority setting.

 Essential Skills & Abilities Extensive knowledge of SENDIST Appeal and Tribunal process. Single Route of Redress. Experience of chairing meetings and leading working groups. 

Able to advise the senior officers on the approach to individual cases Local Authority experience Job Role Manage the appeals and tribunal process including ensuring all cases are coordinated in line with the tribunal process. Work with colleagues across the local area and in legal services to prepare tribunal documentation and ensure timescales are met for submission. 

Lead on mediation across the service, supporting staff to participate alongside families Provide professional advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies supporting children and young people with SEND We have multiple vacancies across our Education Team and across several Local Authorities nationwide, so even if you think this role isn’t quite right for you, we may well have other roles that are more suitable, so please do get in touch.
