What’s the role about?
A part time position working 15hrs per week every Thursday and Friday has opened up on our team for a Security Operations Centre Operative. You will be responsible for receiving, prioritising and responding to site requests for assistance both in an incident and as part of business as usual operations. You will be liaising with necessary stakeholders to provide an appropriate response and report to see requests through to conclusion. This role will be utilising security tools and systems to support Profit Protection and John Lewis operations to deliver effective Shrinkage prevention and risk mitigation. This role would suit an individual who has experience with CCTV and or alarm systems in control based environments. The successful candidate will need to possess the ability to work efficiently under time sensitive and pressurised environments. You will be required to be able to multitask and have good organising skills/workload management to prioritise your work.
What will you be doing?
Access Control systems and issue access to Partners and third parties as required.
Conduct investigations through data mining, exception reports and CCTV and provide reports back to SOC Management.
Respond to alarm activations and provide direct incident management in an effective and timely manner to the John Lewis Network. Coordinating appropriate response between internal and external parties
Receive, prioritise and respond to site requests for assistance during operations and incident periods.
Compliance with all Data Protection requirements in matters relating to investigation records, databases and CCTV records
Utilise CCTV to conduct surveillance to monitor real-time incidents or reactive investigations.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance Profit Protection relationships, drive compliance and promote knowledge sharing.
