Role Overview

As a Security Officer at G4S, you are more than a Security Guard. You will ensure the safety of our customers staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

You will be working at the rail station in Swindon and your main duty will be to stop antisocial behaviour. You will be required to remove customers from the stations and trains that are behaving in an inappropriate manner. You will need to ensure that you adhere to the required security protocols, conduct searches where required, patrol the stations and deal with all security incidents. With a keen eye and a brilliant way with people, you could look forward to an interesting role where no two days are the same with exciting career opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate

Due to licensing requirements, you must be over 18 to apply for this position. You will be a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key. You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends. It is an essential for this role that you hold a Door Supervisor SIA licence.
