As a Security Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Security Operations team within the Global OTT Security department. The team is responsible for security risk and vulnerability management across our OTT streaming platforms (e.g. NOW, Peacock, SkyShowtime); ensuring vulnerabilities are tracked and remediated within defined policy timelines; executive reporting of audit, security risk and vulnerabilities; managing audit and risk findings and ensuring appropriate ownership, tracking and resolution; and operating our security monitoring stack for all of OTT.

What you’ll do:

• Managing delivery for the Security Operations team: maintaining an up-to-date backlog and roadmap for the team; working with the team to define, document, estimate and break down work; removing obstacles that prevent the team from delivering; driving agile delivery practices across the team
• Building and maintaining good relationships with the delivery teams we support across the OTT platform, ensuring teams are responding appropriately to security vulnerabilities in their products and resolving them within agreed timescales
• Promoting modern ways of working for security operations in the cloud that eliminates toil
• Working closely with other OTT Security teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for our customers
• Working with OTT Security leadership to communicate accurate roadmaps and progress to stakeholders, and to help improve consistency and quality in requirements definition
• Developing and improving the capabilities of your team, allowing them to deliver better solutions and become experts in their chosen areas of focus

What you’ll bring:

• Strong experience in Agile delivery and deep understanding of DevOps Practices (e.g. Continuous Delivery)
• Technical background in software and/or cybersecurity
• Ability to influence teams to drive security improvements
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Focused on outcomes & continuous improvement
• An organised and methodical approach to managing delivery
