Do you have experience as a SecOps (Security Operations) Engineer? Specifically on AWS? You might be a fit for this role. Robert Half has been engaged by a client of ours in the financial sector who are looking to grow their team locally. While the role will mostly be offered remotely, this 12-month SecOps Engineer contract requires the ideal candidate to be able to work on-site for team functions (covid restriction permitting).

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with IS to scope our requirements and decide on automation solutions to simplify SecOps projects
• Assess, upkeep and advance existing monitoring and security flagging systems
• Work with IT to ensure app development can be completed in a secure manner and provide necessary fixes and recommendations when needed

Requirements

• Experience as a SecOps Engineer on AWS
• Experience with Splunk and Terraform
• Experience with Python scripting
• Nice to have experience using OpenPolicy
