Within the Communications & Infrastructure group, DNE (Digital Network Enabler) is a multi-sided platform (MSP) that offers every team and every individual in Sky Technology an open and flexible software development platform to rapidly digitise activities in their functional area.
Successful candidates will have a Scrum Master background, be detail driven, and have experience in playing the Scrum Master role for complex software development projects. You will be a passionate and proven leader with the ability to gain stakeholder buy-in, communicate confidently and collaborate with a wide range of technical and non-technical teams, regardless of geographical or organisational boundaries. You will be a natural problem solver with a cool head, that can deal with ambiguity and work autonomously to deliver results.
What you’ll do:
Work with a multi-skilled multi-cultural team (including Developers, Testers, Designers and Technical leads) based locally and at offshore location.
Meticulous attention to detail, great communication and organisation skills.
Support the management of roadmaps and backlogs with the Product Owners. Managing project deliverables and prioritising the backlog with the project team.
Sprint planning & Agile ceremonies i.e. Stand-ups, planning, backlog refinement, Demos, retrospectives with JIRA knowledge. Host project kick-off, technical and design reviews.
Coach and lead scrum teams with multiple product results such as co-ordination and tracking activity that drives the capability delivery.
Drive capability delivery by management and delivery of a number of technical capability results through the lifecycle of evaluation, design, build & test and service introduction
Be adaptive in your approach to the application of agile methodologies appropriate for the situation especially around Scrum and Kanban.
Ensure products are completed to specification, within an established time frame and scope.
Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed reports on milestones and deliverables. Frequent reporting on project status & resource utilisation.
Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to identify problems, create solutions and implement improvements when needed. Hold technical team meetings to determine progress and address issues or obstacle regarding projects. Determine and define clear deliveribles.
Perform risk analysis to identify issues during the project lifecycle. Manage external/internal dependencies, issues and risks effectively and creatively propose solutions to challenges.
What you’ll bring:
Have a strong track record of using Agile methodologies to deliver working software
Excellent analysis skills; Passion, drive and resilience with a solution focused mindset
The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within an agile team
Understanding of telco projects lifecycle will be a key.
Solid hands-on experience on Jira, confluence; knowledge of various Agile frameworks and excellent knowledge of Scrum Techniques.
Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and have proven ability to influence technical decisions in a fast-moving commercial environment
Outstanding organisation skills.
