The opportunity

Right now, we have an opportunity for a Product Architect - Finance and Procurement - to partner with Project Managers to ensure effective delivery of technology solutions and provides guidance to Solution Architects who are engaged through the blended workforce model.

 

The primary purpose of the role is to develop solutions for designated business units within the context of the overall Architecture frameworks. The role acts as an important link between the business units and IT in ensuring that solutions are designed to meet business/user requirements while also aligning to the overall IT architecture and security frameworks.

 

It will be instrumental in building a product roadmap and reference architecture, with involvement in business cases, quality assurance for project delivery and representation at design review forums.

 

What you will be involved in:

 

Contribute to maintaining and ensuring alignment with the Architecture framework and roadmaps across the cluster

Provide high level input to and assist with the effective implementation of a comprehensive architecture plan addressing all elements of the architectural framework ensuring that it is aligned to the IT architectural goals and technology roadmap

Develop business cases which define potential benefits, options or solutions for achieving these benefits through development of new or changed processes, and associated business risks. Identify stakeholders and their business need

About you

 

You will have appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience that will enable you to own both the finance and the procurement domains.

 

Your skills and experience will also include the ability to deliver a reference finance and procurement architecture as well as lead the evaluation of finance and procurement solutions for existing or new capabilities.  

 

In summary, your SAP ERP experience will be with FICO and MM modules as well as Ariba procurement.  In addition, you are skilled in options analysis and evaluation and being involvement in business cases and the overall quality assurance for project delivery. 

 

You will also bring strong previous experience with solutions architecture, business and systems requirements, and technical design and analysis in a complex and maturing technical environment.
