We are seeking a Solution Engineering Leader to lead a team of outstanding SEs for Salesforce.org in EMEA. This role will report to the Vice President of Solution Engineering and work closely with sales leadership and the Solutions & Marketing team to drive success for our customers in the nonprofit segment. You will be responsible for allocating resources, performing employee reviews and evaluations, participating in strategic opportunities, driving relationships with Sales Leadership, and enabling SE team members to be successful in our markets. The SE Leader will actively work with their team members to solve difficult problems, and coordinating corporate/external resources when required.
You should be passionate about supporting and developing individuals and demonstrate empathy as well as leadership and people management skills.
You possess solid analytical capabilities, be organized and able to work on many tasks at the same time.
You should be proficient with CRM and Marketing technologies (or other Enterprise business applications) and be able to present to a business or technical audience.
You must be able to support the Solution Engineering team by providing mentorship on sales strategies, approaches to solve specific problems, as well as a represent their team's needs to the Salesforce.org executive staff.
You should be able to communicate equally with internal resources such as Product Marketing, Technology & Products and Sales Leadership to gain commitment and support.
Possess people leadership skills and demonstrate a genuine desire to support, grow and champion individuals
Prior direct experience in the Nonprofit industry desirable but not crucial
Direct experience in a Solution Engineering role
Experience selling CRM and/or cloud computing solutions
Ability to work as part of a team to solve business and technical problems in sophisticated environments
Solid verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
Proven time management & prioritization skills in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Ability to work effectively as part of a distributed remote team.
Ability to travel domestically (up to 50%)
