The Sales Strategy and Operations team is a high-performance team chartered with assisting senior executives in driving the business forward and part of the UK/I COO office. Salesforce UK/I are looking for an Analyst to support the growth and success of UK/I Industry Sales. The role will a part of the UK/I Business Operations group and will report to the Senior Manager of Industry Sales Strategy.
The selected candidate will share responsibility for (1) tracking and reporting on key indicators of sales performance; (2) analyse market opportunities and business outlook, using those findings to set the strategic agenda and Go-To-Market recommendations for the industry sales teams; (3) act as trusted advisor to sales leaders and custodian of overall sales performance health; (4) prepare and present recommendations to senior leaders and support ongoing sales-related governance and cadence
The successful candidate will possess a strong intellectual curiosity, passion for drawing rich insight from data and thrive in working in a fast-pace environment. Ideally, this person will have worked or interned in a Sales Strategy & Operations environment, at a top-tier management consultancy, or in a comparable environment that requires eye for business combined with analytical nous, and will feel comfortable interacting with senior management on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
Drive improvements in our sales coverage model through scalable analytics
Support ongoing analysis of business performance
Advise on executive decisions daily
Assist in the design and implementation of sales governance and cadence
Expand the UK/I Sales Strategy and Operations team infrastructure with scalable reports, processes and tools
Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives
Work cross-functionally on establishing best practices and collaborate on strategic initiatives
Interact regularly with the sales teams and other sales-related functions
Desired Skills/Experience
Bachelors Degree, preferably in an analytical discipline such as engineering, computer science, economics, etc.
Expert in quantitative analysis: Excel and logical reasoning; experience using databases for analysis, experience running analysis using Salesforce platforms, SQL, Business Objects a strong plus
Strong problem solving skills: ability to operate with autonomy, independent and structured problem solving skills

Strong intellectual curiosity: passionate about learning and personal development
Team player: ability to succeed in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
