Stabicraft Marine is an award winning designer, manufacturer and global exporter of aluminium boats located in Invercargill.

We see ourselves as market innovators and leaders, and our boats can be found in waters all over the world. Our success starts with great design that leads to the creation of our high quality, market leading boats that are sold through our dealer network around the world.

A senior leadership role reporting to the CEO, the Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for leading our brand strategy development and delivery, and ensuring dealer relationships and performance are strong.

You will be passionate about Stabicraft, its journey and success as one of Southland’s most iconic and evolving businesses.

Committed to our brand, you will ensure the most is made of the marketing opportunities that are available so that we continue to progress and grow.

With experience in both marketing strategy and day to day sales and marketing activities, you will also have experience leading and inspiring a team.

Responsible for channel management and marketing, your team consists of three Dealer Relationship Managers who take care of our dealers primarily located across NZ, Australia and the USA, and three Content Creation and Marketing professionals who deliver fresh and exciting content across a range of platforms for Stabicraft.

A key contributor to our product development process, you will be the voice of the customer’ and bring qualified feedback from the market to the table so we can continue to deliver the most progressive, high quality, market leading boats to our loyal customers and new Stabi fans.

Our ideal candidate will have :

• Relevant experience in marketing, sales management and / or industrial design with experience in a senior level role
• Strong management skills with experience effectively leading a team
• A creative approach with a passion for the Stabicraft brand and a strong eye for detail
• Experience developing and executing successful marketing strategies and taking products to the market
• The ability to set and work within a budget
• Savvy with e-commerce systems and digital platforms
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with all areas of the business
