We are looking for an intern to join our Sales Operations team from July 2022 for 13 months. The successful intern will be responsible for supporting the market performance, encompassing regional support, used cars, financial services and fleet operations.
They will lead planning, internal fleet from infleet and in life use to defleet to ensure business requirements are met and with greatest efficiency. Also, the role will include supporting the development of the used car and financial services business globally, and supporting the regional performance team. What will you be doing? Fleet Management
• Plan volume requirements for European Region – manage the fleet planning spreadsheet
• Ensure orders are placed in line with requirements
• Lead specing of cars to ensure appropriate fleet representation and optimal Residual Values
• Arrange PDI of new fleet cars as required via the fleet workshop
• Support team assistant with registration process
• Monitor Fleet Utilisation and recommend actions to address any shortfalls
• Support team assistant in responding to booking requests and maintaining the daily booking report
• Recommend and implement process and policy improvements.
• Identify vehicles for defleet and ensure refurbishment is arranged through fleet workshop
• Ensure all vehicles are on the Pre-Owned Portal
• Ensure high quality photography is available for all vehicles
• Set up and maintain fleet car auctions
• Maintain sales values analysis
Market Performance
• Support the market performance team in steering sales performance, order placement and enquiry monitoring.
• Direct liaison with regional offices and dealers worldwide
• Coordination and management of department budget
• Manage working time accounts for sales operations team
Used Car & Financial Services Support
• Support on delivery of projects including – ad-hoc reports/market analysis, Marketing, Programme Enhancements, Digital Development
• Monitor and support pre-series upgrade projects
Qualifications
• Undergraduate studying for a bachelors degree
• Excellent communication skills
• Confidence to deal with a range of people with professionalism
• Be able to critically evaluate current working practices and recommend and implement changes independently.
• Being able to handle multiple independent tasks
• High level of organisation and attention to detail
• Being able to balance short notice demands with longer term tasks and planning,
• Confidence to work autonomously
• Competence with using Excel and other Office tools
