ROLLS-ROYCE MOTOR CARS - GOODWOOD - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - 13 MONTH PLACEMENT (JULY 2022)

Business Development

Working within the Business Development department this role will involve the promotion of Accessories, Lifestyle, Service and Bodyshop products and services to Rolls-Royce owners utilising a wide range of key marketing channels, including, but not limited to: Social Media, CRM, Digital, Radio and Out of Home. We’re seeking highly motivated, confident individuals with proven initiative and an accountable, creative and responsible approach to join our business in an exciting and diverse 13 month student placement. The role will involve regular collaboration with teams across the Business Development department and the wider business as well as the key Rolls-Royce Motor cars agencies.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage social media activity and E-commerce projects within Aftersales.
  • Support on multiple projects across National, Retailer and Digital Marketing topics.
  • Liaise with product managers and agencies to complete projects.
  • Participate in regular calls with contacts in Munich. 
  • Manage competitor analysis to ensure we are aware of activities in the market.
  • Work with multiple agencies (creative & media) on projects and initiatives.
  • Operate in a lateral working culture, collaborating with colleagues across the department / company.

Qualifications

  • Studying for an undergraduate degree in Business Management or Marketing and on track to achieve a 2:2 or above.
  • Time spent working in a Marketing environment is highly desirable, as is a passion for Digital Marketing.
  • Excellent communication and numerical skills combined with and aptitude for analysing & presenting information.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and challenging timelines.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office packages and aptitude to learn new packages.
