Job Introduction

Our Resourcing & Talent team provides bespoke internal recruitment support to all departments across the BBC. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Resourcing & Talent Advisor to join our Corporate Functions team. BBC Corporate Functions consists of HR, Finance, Legal, Communications, Marketing and Audiences and even Children In Need, and you’ll support across these teams.

You will provide specialist end-to-end recruitment and partner with stakeholders and hiring managers to hire the best talent to the BBC.

Role Responsibility

As a Resourcing & Talent Advisor you will deliver end to end resourcing service for permanent and FTC hiring for your dedicated business area(s). You’ll forge strong relationship with your hiring managers and key stakeholders, providing advice and recommendations on recruitment policy, approaches and sourcing options, in order to attract the best candidates for the BBC.

As an interview expert, you will build selection/assessment toolkits and advertising copy that will appeal to the identified audience and shows the BBC as an ‘Employer of Choice’. You’ll also ensure hiring managers are trained and use our new interview framework.

You’ll get involved in the candidate evaluation and selection process, such as initial screening & shortlisting.

As a team we’re always looking for new and innovative ways of attracting talent as well as providing an amazing recruitment experience for both candidates and managers, so you will contribute with your ideas for continuous improvement by bringing insights into the organisation to identify new techniques, opportunities, risks and priorities.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who really is passionate about bringing great candidates to the BBC. You’ll be passionate about providing a brilliant service to hiring managers and a seamless candidate experience.

We want someone who can bring great ideas about how to reach potential candidates through different channels, can write engaging job adverts and who is excited to get involved with the end to end recruitment process.

You will bring experience of end-to-end recruitment, including attracting and sourcing candidates, as well as negotiating offers. You’re also a strong communicator with good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.

Ideally you will have some experience of recruitment advertising, interviewing/assessment or HR administration. It would be great if you have worked with Applicant Tracking Systems, but we can teach you those.
