What you will do

We are seeking a person with a good mix of administration, financial management and coordination experience.

Along with purchasing and managing the cost centre for the NCO, you'll also find yourself completing the following:

  • Treasury duties;
  • Providing confidential support to both internal and external customers;
  • Planning and organising events;
  • Compiling and producing documentation;
  • Managing facilities; and
  • Contributing to the development and effectiveness of the organisation.

What we need

Our ideal candidate is at an intermediate level with computers and is experienced in a range of software, with a particular focus on MYOB and strong Excel skills. Ideally, you'll have experience in SAP, SRM, Publisher and e-Travel.  

Within this role you will become a key member of a small and supportive team who provide a professional and confidential service to families and personnel. This is a busy and varied role that will keep you engaged.

Equally important in this role are excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. These skills will also assist you in building strong working relationships across a diverse range of people.

A full NZ driver licence is essential.

  • is a citizen of, and/or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last five years: either Australia, Canada, NZ, the United Kingdom (UK) or the United States of America (USA); and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) towards a recommendation of suitability for a security clearance at this level.
