The opportunity  

Right now, we have an Ongoing Full Time opportunity for a Reporting Analyst to join our Reporting & Measurements team within the Advanced Analytics and Insights Unit.

In this role you will perform data collection, maintenance, analysis, validation and distribution as it relates to program and project performance data across the areas of cost, time and performance.

You will provide support to the Manager in the interpretation of trends, problem areas and opportunities from the data gathered from financial and other business systems used by the Division.

You will maintain regular liaison with and training of various personnel across the organisation, cross referencing information weekly to ensure all data is captured accurately.

Please note that regular morning overtime will be required in this role on a rotational basis with other team members.

About you

You have experience working as an Analyst for a large, complex organisation and knowledge of relational databases and architecture. You have data and analysis skills and are comfortable working in Tableau, SQL, Microsoft Excel and other Office 365 and SAP reporting software.

You have experience generating data sets and creating adhoc reports for users.

You have the ability to engage with various stakeholders, you’re proactive and use your initiative to get things done and resolve issues independently.

You have excellent communication skills, are flexible, and possess the ability to adapt to a changing and sometimes uncertain environment. You have experience working in teams to tight deadlines and have a successful track record in delivering great customer experience outcomes.

Any Power BI experience will be highly regarded.
