What You Will Be Doing
The Rental Officer is responsible to work with and alongside all other Rental Staff within the Rental Branch, to ensure efficient operating of the Branch's activities. This includes but not limited to, maximising utilisation of all assets, presentation of assets, client retention, and adherence to rental processes and procedures. 7:30am - 4:30pm. The salary is $55 to $60K, plus super, annual bonus based upon divisional/branch performance and personal performance (up to 5% of salary).
What You Need
Experience in customer service, with transport and or rental activities preferred.
Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask due to the fast-moving nature of the Business.
Motor Vehicle licence required.
Develop a knowledge of commercial vehicle configurations and their carrying capacities.
Ability to think creatively to devise the most efficient processes, for both Customers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Branch administration including filing, payment remittance, and preparation of rental agreements.
Key point of contact for inbound phone enquiries.
Process counter, online, and phone enquiries and follow these through to Rental Reservations.
Ensure accurate processing of all invoices and rental agreements.
Develop customer relationships.
Ensure Credit Card and Debtor guidelines are followed within policy guidelines.
Ensure all activities comply with company policy guidelines.
Maintain knowledge of trends in equipment specifications and effects on rental activities.
Awareness of and compliance with health and safety legislation and with established policies and procedures
