The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Remuneration Partner to join the Remuneration team within the People and Culture division of Transport for NSW. The requirement is a 12 month Fixed-Term contract, with home office located in Sydney CBD (flexibility is available due to current environment).
Within this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Remuneration Project Lead with providing analysis and insights to enable successful project outcomes. You will be required to develop detailed remuneration analytical models, including internal and external benchmarking, monitoring current workforce remuneration requirements; assists in developing reports to support informed remuneration and service planning decision making for Senior Employees of the Transport Cluster.
You will also be responsible for undertaking remuneration advice, job evaluations and perform internal and external comparisons of job value while facilitating the development of new roles and responsibilities.
Key accountabilities (but not limited to):
Support the Rem Project lead with the data analaysis and insights to support the project outcomes.
Develop solutions and implement changes to internal processes and management to ensure timeliness and accuracy to assist with informed remuneration decision making.
Undertake analysis of data and information to ensure best practice and enable assessment of all Remuneration requests, by collating accurate, current and relational data, information and records, cross referenced across multiple data sources, to facilitate identification and suggested resolution of issues.
Undertake job evaluation as per prescribed methodology (Mercer point factor method) to ensure an equitable and consistent evaluation process having regard to whole of organizational context and external environmental factors.
Undertake research and analysis into market value of roles and recommend, when required, revaluing of roles to ensure the Agency remains competitive in attracting required talent.

About you
You will bring forward demonstrated experience in a similar capacity role with strong exposure in remuneration data analysis.
You come with demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and a solid workethic with a focus on time management and meeting deadlines while balancing completing priorities.
Your understanding of MERCER CED job evaluations (or other exposure to other job evaluations methodology) will also be highly regarded but not essential.
You thrive in a collaborative, complex and constantly changing environment, demonstrating the flexibility and resilience to quickly update your approach as circumstances evolve. You demonstrate initiative, take ownership of your work and have the ability to build effective working relationships.
Salary and benefits
The salary for this position is Transport Service Grade 7 ($106,086 - $118,816) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
